    Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows


    Why is there no where that I can purchase a new Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows by itself.

    I've had the gen 1 for quite some time now but am starting to notice input issues when using my Elite series 2 through it while using it wired works perfectly.

    Naturally this would lead me to want to get a new one, especially knowing that there's the latest and greatest version.

    I know there is a bundle with a wireless controller and the adapter but I'm not trying to spend an extra $55 for a controller that I don't want or need.

    I'm also aware I could go the used route but something tells me that buying what could easily be turned into a malicious flash drive is not the best idea.

    Help me Microsoft I simply want to play wirelessly without having to buy the unnecessary controller or spend much more on a BT enabled motherboard.
