    Xbox wired controller on a Chromebook issue


    So I have a chromebook that's pretty much a android phone in laptop form, and I realised I could download the Xbox game pass from the playstore. I was able to load the game and it works just fine on the cloud, however the controller input is not working in every game. The right analog stick is useless and both triggers makes you look up,down, left and right. Left stick works just fine with the game, such as moving the character. (The games are FPS, Halo, Doom, etc). Can anyone help with how to fix this issue? I already reported the issue in the app

    Thanks for the update, got it. Are you able to use a different web browser, like Edge or Firefox? or are you using a Chromebook?

    And, the controller is connected wired or via bluetooth?

    If you want to know if the controller is compatible with your Chromebook for use with Xbox Cloud Gaming, then according to the following website where a list of controllers compatible with Xbox Cloud Gaming is shown, it seems that the wired 8BitDo Ultimate controller is not compatible:

    For now, the only 8BitDo controllers compatible with the Xbox Cloud Gaming are:

    - SN30 Pro Controller for Xbox Cloud Gaming on Android.
    - N30 Pro 2.

    Make sure you press sync and go to the Bluetooth and connect and pair

    (You can't just press sync)

    Since your controller doesn't have Bluetooth capability, we have two options to connect it to your computer. It's either using a USB cable or wireless adapter for Xbox wireless controller.

    Our best option here is to try another USB cable that supports high quality data transfer or connection for both devices being connected.

    For wireless adapter, since you got a Chromebook, you will have to find any compatible adapter for Xbox controller on your Chromebook.
