    Xbox Windows 10 App Party issue


    When I go into select games like GMod I cant hear or speak to my friends in the party. However this is only on a select few of games that I play. I can speak and hear my friends fine when I play CS:GO but when I play MW2 and GMod the chat fades of and then
    nothing. When I tab out everything is fine again but as soon as I go back into the game I cant hear my friends or speak to them.

    Usb Headsets and microphones...

    USB headsets are not compatible with an Xbox one, and so far there is no software to fix this issue. If you are looking to use the headset for chatting purposes only you can download the xbox app on windows 10, often it is pre-installed on windows 10
    pcs. With the xbox app you can create a party and invite your friend(s), the party will have voice chat.

    Recently this issue happens off and on for me too, but you still could try using a phone or windows 10 pc with the xbox app for your party until the issue is resolved.
