    Xbox will not update or download


    I been trying to update some games and my system. The updates will never start. My internet connection is good. I was able to use my phone mobile hotspot and everything started updating. Why did my xbox start not being able to update or download anything using my normal house network I always used?

    take xbox to mates house with internet and download update there ? i have probs with updates and all xbox things except live so i go to my mates and download updates there :)

    It depends on the type of update. Usually game updates will require you to approve the content on the download before it actually downloads. It's Xbox system updates that don't need your approval. Those will download automatically.

    Sounds to me like you need to download the Xbox beta app. If that's the case check to see if you are on windows 10 version 1903. If you are on anything below that, you can't download the Xbox beta app.

    check your updates to see if it allows you to update to 1903. If not, go to this link https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 download
    the tool and update it manually.

    Once the update is complete download the Xbox beta app. log in to your account and download metro exodus

    Can't reinstall game on Xbox Games Pass for PC

    Found the issue! There was an update to this game queued in the 'Downloads and Updates' section of the Microsoft Store. I think the update was stuck there in limbo, as I'd uninstalled the game. Downloading the update now - and now it shows up as downloading
    in the Xbox app.
