Xbox will not turn on?!

If you've followed the guide and it's telling you that the console needs to be repaired then that's exactly what you'd need to do. Unfortunately, there is no other sort of troubleshooting steps we can give you other than those found in the guide itself.
It makes you go through a series of tests to see if it's the power supply causing the issue or if it's the console. In this case it looks like it's a console issue and not a power supply issue.

Try unplugging the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Test it and let us know. Good Luck!

The light on your PowerBrick should be white while your Xbox is in standby. Check your PowerBrick to see if there is a light on, if there is no lights then there is no power getting to your brick, make sure all cables are correctly fitted into the PowerBrick
and into the back of the Console. you may need a replacement if all cables are fitted correctly your consultant still not turning on.

If all seems okay with your PowerBrick and it is displaying a light then do you shoe could be to do with the console itself and I would advise to contact Xbox repair.

Sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Xbox. Is it safe to assume it is an Xbox One?

I suggest a reset of the console via the troubleshooting screen to get you back to a factory reset.

To access the troubleshooting screen use these steps:

Unplug the network cable if you're using a wired network connection.
Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.
Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in.
Press and hold the BIND button (located on the left side of the console) and the EJECT button (located on the front of the console), and then press theXbox button on the console.
Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.
Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.

From there you can reset your console.

unfortunately you'll want to consider reaching out to the Online Service Center to explore having your console repaired or replaced. I know it's not ideal, but that is definitely not normal behavior for an
Xbox One.

I finally got my hands on a new power box/brick(?) and this was the problem.

It definitely sounds like it could be the Power Supply then. Like I said try to borrow a friends to see if the console works, and if it is the Power Supply I would strongly recommend buying an official one, an unofficial one may be cheap but it may also
damage your console.
