Xbox will not go past the green start up animation

My Xbox has been at the green start up screen for the last 4 days, I was playing CoD on Dec. 24, when my Xbox froze, I turned off the console and it has been at the green screen since then. I have tried power cycling multiple times, letting it sit at the
green screen for hours, unplugging it over night and nothing works.

Any ideas of what I should do? will my console need to be repaired?

Me too. And I'm having major issue xbox won't go past green start screen.

 

Xbox issue

It did not work also when I started the Xbox back up again their were a bunch of specs on the green "XBOX ONE" animation screen.

 

I've been experiencing the same problem for the last 3 days and cannot find a solution that works

 

Same problem. Microsoft expects the customer to pay for a defective console. Absurd!

 

Wolfstar and Dontshoot if you guys find a way to fix this please let me know.

I was not in the middle of an update should I still try this?

 

Use your warranty and send your console to Microsoft and they will repair it. I sent my console yesterday because I had the same problem.

Go to the Xbox one offline system update diagnostic tool site

support.xbox.com/.../offline-system-update-diagnostic-tool

Download the restore factory defaults.

You will lose your game saves and app but it will work.

I had to Restore factory defaults using the steps and download on
support.xbox.com/.../offline-system-update-diagnostic-tool

My Xbox is now working, but I had to reinstall my games.
