    Xbox Will not go past 50% on a factory reset


    I have an Xbox one and it is resetting now after days of the green screen of death. It wouldn't update, reset or finish opening until i reset it but it had been 2 days since I chose to reset it and it has still only gotten to 50% and then turns itelf off.
    Sometimes, it even turns itself back on only to reach 50 and shut off again. It states no errors and is the current 2019 version. Please help I wanna play R6 °~°

    Have you tried doing an offline update using a usb flash drive? Try this link here - Offline update It will give you all the steps to
    follow. Also are you trying to do a full factory reset or are you keeping games and apps?

    Thank you for coming to the forums today, I'd be happy to help.

    Does the console shut down every time that it get's to 50% on the system update section? What step during the update does it shut down?

    [*]Go ahead and do a
    hard reset and power cycle     the Xbox. Hold down the power button on the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down and then remove the power cable from the Xbox and the power outlet for about 2-3 minutes. Then re-connect
    and turn on the Xbox to try the process again.

    If that doesn't help then take a look at our system update troubleshooter and you may need to try an Offline System Update:

    You should post in https://www.reddit.com/r/xboxinsiders/ as that is the only place to truly get support for Xbox Insiders. Sometimes with these issues, it can take several
    factory resets to pull the update through. As I say though pose all questions in the insider reddit.
