    Xbox will not go past 37% on offline update.


    A few days ago I had an issue with Spotify loading while in-game (around 13th I think). Did a quick power down and back on and it was fine. The next day was getting issues where the home screen wouldn't pop-up. Hard rest and fine. Earlier yesterday I couldn't
    access any app or game or menu on xbox. It kept giving me 0x800(and some other numbers). Once again hard rest and unplugged power for 5 minutes. Powered back on and same issue. Talked with Tech and kept getting troubleshoot error E106 every time tried to reset.
    Did a offline update (mind you console is already updated) and it won't go past 37%. It keeps taking me to the troubleshoot screen. I'm at a loss.

    My xbox is stuck on the applying update page.

    Same problem with mine. I went to install the update and it wouldn't go past 75% for about 6 hours, so restarted it and got stuck on the green loading screen and have done tried the offline update method multiple times and still won't go past the same point.

    I have talked to Microsoft support several times to come to the same conclusion that I need to send my Xbox in for repair. One-tech believes that the hard drive is crashed while I believe that when I did receive the update on the 13th of August it caused
    a failure in the system and not on the hard drive. I don't think it's going past 37% on the update because the UI is already updated. But I could be wrong with my thought process.

    I have talked to Microsoft support several times to come to the same conclusion that I need to send my Xbox in for repair. One-tech believes that the hard drive is crashed while I believe that when I did receive the update on the 13th of August it caused
    a failure in the system and not on the hard drive. I don't think it's going past 37% on the update because the UI is already updated. But I could be wrong with my thought process.

    Yes but since the update offline is not working, I take what support said, is high likely to be a issue on the hard drive, preventing from the update to apply. You should send it to repair.

    I'm having the same issue. Went to load Destiny (disc version), and got the game file/save is corrupted try uninstalling, then reinstalling it error. Tried hard-resetting the Xbox and got the same System error.

    All of this happened after XCOM (backwards compatible) finished installing.

    I've tried doing the Offline System Update, and it gets to 37% on applying the update before stopping and going back to the 'Something went wrong' page.
