    Xbox will not connect to my laptop


    Hello, I am having issues with my screen when i stream from my xbox to my laptop with the xbox console companion application. I am able to stream fine, but the screen on my laptop does not show the screen on my xbox, but just shows the background of the
    xbox console companion app.

    This is what I mean when i can stream it but nothing shows up on screen from my xbox to my laptop.

    I hope someone can help me with this issue since I have been having this problem for a long time now.

    NO, your laptop have an HDMI out, you can workaround this using Xbox Companion App on Windows 10.

    If both Xbox One and your laptop use ethernet connection to your network, you can play without any issue.

    Using wifi to connect to xbox live?

    I've used wifi hotspots with my laptop many times.

    Just connect the 360 to the laptop using ethernet connection and switch on internet connection sharing on PC.

    Then sign into the hotspot on your laptop and xbox live should then work.

    Problem is that an open NAT is not guaranteed.

    yes, i did everything. oddly enough, the only way i can connect to Xbox Live is by sharing my connection through ethernet from my laptop to my xbox. it doesn't connect directly to the router. everything else (laptop + iphone) works fine though

    well the thing is, the internet connection on my laptop is fine and iv also tried turning my laptop off and using the xbox but no luck.
