Xbox will not connect to live

My xbox is fully connected to the internet in every possible way. i have done multiple tests, hard resets and checked my internet source. All is well

Though everytime i click connect to live, it just makes the sound that happens when you click something and nothing happens.

Please someone help me

There is no button or menu to connect!

The system is not connected, I do a network test and it passes, but still is not connected... I can't do anything with the X1 if it's not connected to live!

Is there a way to manually connect to Xbox live in this console?

 

Me too. This has been going on for about three days. I do all the connection tests and it tells me all is good. I can't figure out what is going on.

 

First try logging out of your profile then log back in. Once that is done test to see if it is working.

If that doesn't work then log out of all profiles on the console and remove your profile. Then perform a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord
from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console. Once it is back up and operational reload your profile log in and test.

I have this problem too, but I can connect normally during the week but only at the weekends do I get this problem.

I have not reset or altered any settings on my 360 and can't see why i should as it works only on weekdays

 

If it were me I would do some investigating of my ISP to see if they are having bandwidth problems on the weekends when everyone is at home and on their internet. It definitely sounds like and ISP issue to me.

Run detailed stats during the week and then run them again on the weekend and compare the results.

 

This only happens on the Xbox 360, my Xbox one, computer and iPad work fine

 

I want to get in on this boat as well. is my gamertag. I was in the preview program until today, hoped this would fix my issue, but it didn't. I've been having problems signing into xbox live for a week now. If I reset my xbox several
times, eventually it will sign in. I've hard reset, cleared my cache, factory reset, signed out, signed back in, removed my profile from the xbox, spent 7 hours online with you guys, and finally I got a link to come here and complain with ya'll.. So here
I am. I've done everything you can think of and nothing has been a permanent fix. Please help...
