Xbox what went through your heads when you made the rep system?

That wasn't the reason as people who had not even played those games had their rep reset.

As there has been no official announcement nobody knows the reason.

The thing I've noticed about all the negative posts regaurding the rep system is most of them come across like people I'd avoid anyways. It's usually rude and not constructive critiscism.

Galatic Geek, Perhaps I'm too sensitive with my rep... I wanted to achieve 5 star rep, but with people reporting for *TOO GOOD* I'm getting no where...

And finally I completed CoD BO2 Zombies Origin Little Lost Girl achievement, with *Honest* people...

Achieving something make me happy as if I'm achieving something in real life event...

 

There is no star rep or way to be reported for being too good on the XB1, K3ller.

As for sources, I have none officially - Gears of War UE doesn't have an automated system, but supposedly has an in-game report system that directly affects your rep without going to the enforcement team (basically, you get reported at all, your rep goes
down). That comes from numerous people from the official Gears site, including from moderators there. As for Halo, it has an automated system that can auto-report you for things like leaving a game early or team-killing that also directly affects your rep
without the enforcement team, since it's all proven on a technical level. That, as well as a particular way it can be abused, has been shown in a few YouTube videos from varioius people.

So, what I'm doing is gathering information and coming up with reasons I believe that these changes are happening. It may not be correct, I admit, but it's the best I can come up with considering the information at hand.

You guys got any better ideas?

 

Yea the system was flawed and they have quietly changed it and hope no one really notices....

 

Regardless of what you thought of it before, these changes supposedly make it better, and that's a good thing...

 

Making it better is definitely a good thing! ...

I just think it needs to be made a little bit more simple. Don't want to start up the whole debate again but all this, the system can route out genuine/false reports etc etc sounds a little bit too good to be true, I just can't see it and with recent events,
Rep resets, Microsoft saying themselves changes are coming says ( well says to me ) there was problems with it.

I said before, why not just give the option to block a player, this doesn't effect the rep of anyone but stops you ever being matched against them.

For more serious issues, abuse online, abusive messages etc why not have some sort of email support system in place. I believe this would stop a lot of time wasters just hitting the report button for the sake of it and I believe most if they felt there was
real cause to report someone wouldn't mind at all spending a few minutes to send an email?
