    Xbox website doesn't recognize my Xbox Gold Subscription?


    Hi there,

    I signed for Xbox Live Gold a couple of days ago and was able to obtain the free games with gold through the iOS app, but whenever I'm browsing xbox store on my pc it doesn't recognize me as Gold user and always directs me to buy the free games with gold
    or shows me prices applicable to non Gold users.

    Everything seem okay when i check my subscription but then this happens.

    Can you help?

    I further checked on my Xbox 360 and Xbox One and it doesn't recoginze me as Gold member there. It seems the only place this is being recognized is on the iOS App....

    What game or games are you having an issue with currently? Sometimes it can take a day or two for a new subscription to activate fully.

    Bought GOLD for a year, now it's telling me I have to renew it after about 20 days of using it.

    I have this problem too. I just redeemed a 12 month xbox live gold but my xbox and the website isn't recognizing it. I can't download games with gold because it redirects me to a page where they tell me to buy a gold subscription

    After reviewing your account, your Gold subscription for the last three months was a promotional, discounted subscription. As mentioned in the FAQ, promotional subscriptions are not eligible for Rewards:

    My Xbox Live Rewards account is not recognizing my Xbox Live Gold membership. What should I do?



    Xbox Live Rewards can only recognize paid monthly or yearly standard, non-promotional Xbox Live Gold memberships. If you have a different type of membership, we may not be able to recognize you as an Xbox Live Rewards Gold member.

    We see that you are not receiving Gold Status this month due to your subscription being a promotional Gold subscription for 1 month. Promotional subscriptions are not eligible for Rewards, so your free 1 month is not eligible. From our FAQ:
