Discus and support Xbox webpage keeps going to US Website! in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I have £25 (GDP) with my Xbox account, or so it says.     Xbox webpage keeps going to US Website!


    I have £25 (GDP) with my Xbox account, or so it says. I've been trying for a while now to work out how I spend it, so I decided today to buy Minecraft for xbox 360 on this website for £13.49, I click the buy button and it says "no valid payment option",
    and now says that game is $19.99. I'm having great difficulty trying to get back onto the UK website to purchase this game! I've tried this on my Xbox 360 too, to no avail. I've tried switching regions to see if that would help, but considering there's no
    way to be sure what region your xbox live account is set to, I'm not sure if I'm helping myself by doing this. I tried clicking the Add a Payment Option button, but that just takes me to a page where they assume you're from the US. Up to the point where I
    click the buy button the currency is all in GDP, and the URL for the page says /en-GB/ then I click the button and the overlay screen is now suggesting I pay in USD.

    This money was a gift for my birthday too, so it's a shame that I'm not able to enjoy the present. Please help. Many thanks.

    How to know what points card to buy?

    The billing website, the one I gave you, is the correct region for your account. You would need to purchase US points.

    The other webpage is not run by Microsoft or Xbox.

    Having problems with a Code

    Check the region of the Xbox webpage when you are trying to redeem your code (you should find it near the bottom-left corner of the page). I'm in the UK but the Xbox website keeps defaulting back to "English (United States)". Try changing it to the correct
    region for yourself. I was getting the same error until I changed the region of the Xbox website to "English (United Kingdom)". Then I was able to redeem the code without issue.

    Hello, did you resolve your problem?

    Have you checked your billing information on the Microsoft Commerce site?
    https://commerce.microsoft.com     When you've successfully logged in, click 'Billing' and then on the next screen 'Billing information'. This screen will show you what country your Microsoft account is set to and your account balance.

    You should be able to set your country from within the Xbox.com website on the bottom left of the screen. or via this link

    If after all that you are still having problems, you should try clearing your cookies and temporary internet files.
