With Microsoft saying recently they plan on having their biggest E3 event ever, and Xbox failing to bring VR to Xbox last year, is it possible that VR will be introduced this year at E3? If so it would be a dream come true for many gamers who have longed
dreamed of playing VR on the Xbox!

Nothing has changed if you liked xbox in the past with out vR then that is still the case so microsoft not doing VR shouldnt make any differnce too you. However that said just because there not doing anything for VR right now doesnyt mean that they wont
in the furtre. I cant see xbox ever making a VR headset but what i can see is a xbox app on other VR headsets that will let you plkay your xbox games some with VR patches.

Personally I think MS should keep VR away from Xbox, for now, once the technology gets to a point where we can have a fully immersive experience with VR with in games like Halo instead of the VR feeling like a sales gimmick, then VR should come to Xbox.

Why not? What's your issue with giving people an option to buy an accessory who prefer a fully immersive style of gaming compared to traditional flat level gaming. .

VR is a fad that's already losing steam. In order to be great, it's going to have to be too expensive for most gamers. A lot of people also just don't want to play a game with a big piece of gear on your head.

  6. Losing steam? You got that backwards bud. VR is growing at an incredibly fast rate and every major company is hiring all kinds of workers to build VR software/hardware. What are you talking about?! Have you not seen the latest projections by Wall Street
how many billions of dollars VR is worth? Or are you one of "them" boring simple ppl who like their plain Jane good ole fashioned TV that only offers a limited FOV and basic levels of immersion because from my experience everyone I've introduced VR to is AMAZED
by it! I'm an Xbox guy and I know just from my word of mouth I've caused 3-4 friends to sell their Xbox just to play PSVR like I did! I've gotten on forums and all I've seen is ppl similar to myself that are selling their xboxs just to buy VR. VR is a far
superior way to play games and view content. Just because you don't like VR don't mean everyone else shares your opinion because the numbers don't lie and the sales of VR even in its infant stages says this: it ain't going away. Its taking over whether you
    like it or not

Love this Xbox VR :D Xbox VR :D Xbox VR :D

I have a mate who is a total VR nay-sayer and every time I talk about something new in VR he dismisses it saying it's a fad and he will never buy it. I've tried the Vive and it blew my mind, he's not even tried it yet, how can one person be so naive? Can't
wait until the day I get to see him eating serious humble pie when he gives in and buys into VR so he can keep on gaming with the group. VR and AR is going to be everywhere in 5-10 years time, no doubt in my mind.

I'll believe it when I see it, but right now I don't believe it. Of course sales are going to look better because so many companies are giving the headsets away for free with other purchases. I have a VR headset and while it does look great, it is now collecting
dust. I've worked in retail and seen VR headsets rarely getting sold.

  9. It already is here... VR arcade and entertainment centers are opening everywhere, VR theaters, VR films are being made VR TV series by big name Hollywood actors and producers. Its here to stay it ain't going nowhere whether the haters like it or not. So
get over it. I mean Macy's just announced their gonna have VR headsets in all their stores for shoppers to test how furniture looks in their home, surgeons love it because it allows students to perform surgery with an ability to fail and learn without actually
posing real harm to a human, pilots have long used VR simulators, NASCAR has been using VR simulators for decades, several top NFL quarterbacks have preached the importance of VR in their training regimen. Every major stock analyst is predicting a huge boom
in sales and were seeing more content and sales pick up recently. Currently PSVR has 160+ titles and will have 300 by the end of the year! Don't get me started on how many titles are on Steam, Oculus and HTC stores. I know that I have personally turned on
a dozen or more ppl, several of which who sold their xboxs for PSVR, and they absolutely love it! Its growing at a very fast rate ! I think right now ppl are still learning what VR is and what it can do which is why sales have been a little slow but it's quickly
picking up and tech is rapidly improving (see SXSW for more info) I think what it really comes down to is the human instinct to stick with what you know. Even if something is better ppl still don't like change and venturing into the unknown and i think theyre
resisting the next step and evolution of gaming because they feel threatened by VR when they shouldn't. It doesn't have to be one or the other.

My son wants to buy a VR headset, but doesn't want to have to invest in the gaming PC arms-race. I've seen spurious comments about Xbox One X designed games being VR compatible (e.g. Oculus Rift) but the most I can find evidence of is streaming games to
the PC and viewing on VR: essentially a very expensive way of making the screen look bigger. I could sit closer to the screen and save a lot of money...

    Seriously considering PS4 and PSVR.

With the big boom in vr and all the money Microsoft has invested in vr now is the time to bring it to Xbox.

  12. I hope Xbox sees some intro of WMR soon. I think there is growth in the field with Samsung Oddesy and Lenovo, HP and others providing solutions from$250-$500 and the Vive dropping to $500. So these HMD should create more options and a growth path. One X
is a beast but may still not be enough to drive a AAA VR experience. Fingers crossed they bring something like the Samsung Oddesy to Xbox One X

I have to say, I think the VR industry is very niche when it comes to the consumer and I can see it being much better served in industry. I have to agree with some sentiments that VR is just a fad and one that won't be adopted by too many console gamers.
If Kinect is any indication, folks just want to play games the traditional way more that anything.

    Xbox Series X VR support?

I doubt that no one is asking for VR games, that's a bold statement. I would welcome VR to xbox if it's possible, there are tons of xbox games that would look great with VR.

    VR on console & Pc?

I would be nice to have VR on Xbox. there would be more competition in VR, witch could make VR better then it is now. VR could die off, but you never know until it happens.

Can’t wait to see VR on Xbox. a VR set and a PC that can run all VR games is an expense that I can’t afford.
