    Xbox Voucher not redeeming


    For my birthday one of my friends gave me an xbox voucher. After I entered the code, it said, ‘This code is not yet active. Contact the merchant to activate this code.’

    I have contacted Microsoft support, and they have said that they need a photo of the receipt. However, as this is a birthday present, my friend has thrown out the receipt.

    Someone please, please help me, as I don’t want this going to waste.

    I think you should get a voucher with code. Then go to redeem code on your xbox and type in code that you found on voucher.

    If you received a voucher via an event or offer you would need to contact those that issued the voucher for more info.

    It would be best as well to double check the voucher for any extra info on how to redeem it.
