Xbox Volume Up

Regarding Kinect voice commands...

It'd be nice if there was a way to adjust the volume multiple times with one command.

Maybe "Xbox Volume Up Three" would raise it three times. Or, "Xbox Volume Up", then say "Up" again, repeating as often as you need.

(Of course, the same is true for "down").

Updates OVERDUE for the XBOX One

i can see a lot of those helping the experience. for me, i'd like to say Xbox, Volume Up ... and if it's not enough say Volume Up again while it's listening but you can't. you have to again say Xbox Volume Up instead of continuing to just say Volume Up
to get it to keep going up. subsequent command recognition needs to improve.

Hey D9Cyph - does volume up and down (using the media remote or "Xbox volume up") work for your Samsung TV?

I have mine set to 8 ,because my receiver has .5 increments ,so it raises or lowers it by 4

 

best is to find a good setting that works... I have mine set for 6 and gives me the best range from low, to normal to louder for games

I have a soundbar hooked up to my XB1 and it doesn't respond properly when I use the "volume up" or "volume down" commands. I have it set to change in increments of 5, but it only ever changes in increments of 1.

 

Also, the "Xbox mute" command is inconsistent. Often times when I say "Xbox mute" it will do the opposite, and vice-versa.

 

Worst thing about this feature is forgetting I have set this up. Wasting time for for a minute looking for the remote for no reason. Think I set mine to 6 with my Panasonic, seems I give me a good range to work with.
