Xbox voice chat not working

On Saturday 17th October (yesterday as I'm writing this) there was an issue posted by xbox on the status page that was affecting voice chat, invitations and some other stuff for certain people (me included) . Since then they have apparently fixed the issue,
but my voice chat still doesn't work at all. Anyone have any suggestions?

Yeah, ever since switching to Win11 I've had this issue, it is very annoying. I hope they get this fixed in an update soon.

Yeah I’m using the starting controller for the 2015 Xbox I am still a bit confused on how the 3.5 mm Jack is the issue seeing that I can still hear everything on the headsets and I can hear myself talk on mic monitoring

Yes I have used other accounts and I don’t think it would be the Jack that’s the problem seeing that I can hear myself when mic monitoring is turned on it’s just that voice chat isn’t working also I can hear from the headphones and I can’t talk even when using other headphones

Thanks for the help all my communication and multiplayer settings were already set so I can talk so it that is not the problem and I still cannot use voice chat. My microphone works as I just tested it on a computer and can still use mic monitoring. I still don’t know why this problem is happening and am unable to fix it also I have used these headphones for a couple months now.
