    Xbox Video unable to download purchased movies on Xbox One


    How do you download a movie purchased from the Microsoft Store? Hughes Net has data caps and I can't watch my purchased movies whenever I want due to data caps. Microsoft wants and advertised the Xbox One as an entertainment center, but this only applies
    if you live in a city with unlimited internet access.

    How to download movie from Xbox Video on Xbox One?

    FWIW - This also seems to apply to movies previously purchased from the 360. In so far as - if you purchased a movie from Xbox Video at any point, you cannot download it on Xbox One - only stream.

    So when they pull the movie from the marketplace, you lose the movies you purchased..

    If you've purchased movies and TV shows then they should be listed at Xbox Video in the account section. Be sure that you are on the gamertag you originally purchased the items with.

    Please be aware that there is currently no option to download Xbox Video purchases to the Xbox One console.

    I have a question that is similar,

    If I buy a movie or rent a movie on the Xbox video store, could I also download that on my Xbox 360 for the price of a one time purchase?

    Movies Anywhere

    One of the issues I have with online movie/tv purchases is that my broadband speed isn't that great and many times end up with video hangs and/or blurry picture.

    I am thankful that you can still download your purchases on the Xbox 360 so as to avoid hangs and drops in picture quality.

    My question is:

    With Movies Anywhere, if you sync up all your purchases and launch Microsoft 'Movies & TV' app on your Xbox 360 can you download purchases made from other

    providers other than Microsoft Movies & TV (e.g. download purchases from Amazon video) ?

    Until I am able to download movies via Xbox One, I will not be buying or renting any movies from the XB1 Video store. I'll use Fios for renting and purchase blurays until Xbox corrects this oversight.
