Xbox video store - no surround sound

All the movies list only English audio and no surround sound. I know they used to advertise surround sound. Does anyone know if the movies still have surround sound? even my purchased movies don't show surround sound. No DTS or Dolby

Cable TV stops working after a few seconds when passing though xbox and then A/V receiver.

Ditto, video and sound pauses for several seconds sometimes when switching channels. And I can't seem to get surround sound consistently either. The xbox is set to surround sound output but it keeps showing up as stereo in the receiver. I read in another
thread to try the receivers surround settings.

Audio sounds "canned" when playing video, but fine in games

I've been having this audio problem since I brought home my XB1. I have it connected via HDMI to my Panasonic vsx920 surround receiver, and all is fine in games. Sound is fine, surround is fine, no problems.

But as soon as I play video content - Amazon Lovefilm, Netflix, Game trailers on Xbox Store, the audio sounds horrible. Like I'm inside an empty can or something, really bad stereo (only 2 speakers go active) and no bass whatsoever.

Any ideas? Tried tinkering with pretty much any setting I can think of.

I noticed this also today. Bought Robocop and it had no surround sound. Went through my whole collection and it seems like none support surround sound. Did you ever figure it out?
