Xbox Video opening while playing a game..

So here I am playing Forza on my Xbox One, when suddenly the xbox video pops up and begins going through a bunch of windows, and videos on its own. I think to myself WTH my xbox has taken on a mind of its own and is now actively searching for all human information
so it can rule over us...

Ok Ok.. craziness aside, my one is literally acting strangely while I play and am hooked to the wifi. I tried multiple times to check controllers, but the second controller has had its battery popped out and it still does this. It isn't my actual controller
as I am in the middle of a turn when this happens on my game. The Kinect is disconnected so that cant be a source. I am stumped. Short of a takeover from an outside source I don't understand why this is happening.

Can anyone be of assistance?

console randomly returns to the dashboard and acts like it opening the disk try during a game.

I am having the Same issue here, while playing a game it randomely takes me to the Dashboard with Disc tray Icon showing opening but it Isn't actually opening .

This one sure is an odd one to report, but the good news is that there has been several updates since you reported this issue. Xbox Video has seen updates and the Xbox One console itself has received a "February update" as well. Please report back if you're
still experiencing random issues like this.

Using the hard copy version of MCC, don't have a capture card, am using the same profile I installed with, and the uninstall/reinstall/hard reset trick didn't work. The Halo Channel app is worthless, it doesn't even work right when trying to watch terminal
videos from in the game - if the app is already open when I launch a terminal video it won't play it, or it continues to play the background music while the video is playing; I have to close the app from the XBox dashboard and then relaunch from the game.
The Nightfall videos are just one part of a larger problem - the Halo Channel is worthless. The entire XBox UI is junk. I was a big fan of the original XBox and the 360. But I don't play video games anymore, Halo is the only one I still play and is the
ONLY reason I upgraded to XBOne, and I'm beginning to regret that decision. Thank goodness there are...other means to watch Nightfall.

The jockman, to push video you need to have it allowed in the settings and have Xbox video open, you should then be able to use play to from a windows machine. Stupid thing is that if you want to play a video then some music you need to manually close Xbox
video and open Xbox music. Its like we are back in 2001 or something.

Yes, I would really like this feature back from the 360. I'm sure they will add it soon.

Currently you can't turn off notifications while watching video/TV but I'll take that suggestion back to the team. I was thinking the same thing last night.
