    I purchased an Xbox video while in transit last weekend to watch in flight, however it would not download. I am still getting an error code oxc101oa3ee and can't watch the movie I have paid for. how can I rectify this? I am in a different country now
    to when I setup the surface, would that make any difference?

    1- How do I pair Xbox One with Surface RT? I heard (seen) you can stream audio and video from Surface on Xbox via Device menu.



    2- How do I pair Xbox One controller with Surface RT? So I can play surface games with Xbox one controller.

    Mister Ohnaka, Thank you for your solution to this problem. I too was unable to download movies to my surface. I even called Xbox support and the gentleman who was trying to help me was unable to solve this problem. I am so glad I found this thread, while

    Hi Bob! Sorry to hear your Surface is giving you trouble! Lets see if we can get it worked out for you. : )

    First I would suggest trying to re-install your Xbox Video app. One thing to note, is that there is a cached file for the app, which we will also need to delete. Follow my instructions below to perform a complete re-install.

    1. Right click on the app’s tile
    2. Select “Uninstall” and confirm
    3. From the Metro UI, type “WSReset.exe” and press enter
    4. After you see a confirmation the store cache has been reset, reinstall the app

    HD orSD

    As the Surface RT Supports a 1366x768 resolution, HD Video will look very good on it. Although it wont be Full HD 1080P it will still give an excellent HD picture in my opinion. I regulary watch HD Videos on my Surface and they give an excellent picture
    with lots of detail. If you like HD and don't mind losing out on 1080P, buy/rent your Videos in HD. HD movies on Surface will still look much better than SD ones. Aswell as that any video you buy on your Surface you will also get on your other (if you have
    any) Windows 8 devices and Xbox 360 consoles. The Xbox 360 is capable of producing Full HD when connected to a Full HD TV. So of I were you I would check out HD content available on the Surface.
