    Xbox Video error c101a053 - 4 purchased seasons completely inaccessible


    Microsoft support agent Michelle D. requested during our hour long chat that I post my issue here, along with a Service Request Number -
    [mod removed]

    In the past I've purchased Seasons 1-4 of Destination Truth, either per episode or via season pass. Attempting to download or play any episode from these seasons from a Windows 8.1 device yields the error above, indicating an issue with the license. A similar
    error occurs on Xbox 360, Xbox One and Windows Phone 8.1.

    In short, 4 seasons worth of content that I've paid for is rendered inaccessible. These 4 seasons are also missing from the marketplace entirely - I assume they are no longer available for purchase, but I should be able to stream or download what I've previously
    paid for.

    Can someone please restore this content for me?

    Edit: I should also mention, as suggested in other forum discussions, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Xbox Video applications on multiple platforms, as well as selected "Restore my purchases" and any other similar options. I would expect any of those
    to work if I could repoint my license to new content, but it doesn't look as though the content is there in the marketplace at all. Interestingly enough, the web interface says there's 5 seasons available, but then only goes on to list the final season.

    Killer instinct Xbox on Windows live, season 2 not playable

    I purchased seasons 1 & 2 of killer instinct long ago and I decided today to try out KI on Windows 10. It successfully transferred all of my level progress and customized costumes, but season 2 is completely inaccessible. It transferred season 1 over completely
    but i am unable to use season 2 even though it is already purchased. The game still says that i have season 2 characters leveled up and even in the store i don't have the option to purchase season 2 because I already own it. I had called xbox support but they
    said they never encountered something like this and encouraged me to post on the forums which leads me here. Some help would be much appreciated as i would like to play KI on my computer soon to try general Raam.

    I think I've located the issue, can you try playback again in 6-8 hours? Need to give some time for the fix to work it's way through the system.

    Ok, I think we're getting somewhere now.

    S1E1 now gives a different error - c00d133c - "Sorry, this item is no longer available from Xbox. Try searching for it - a newer version might be available."

    S1E2 actually streams now, but downloading yields error 80190194 with the same message as above.

    Attempting to stream S1E3-67 yields error c101008e - "Couldn't play because of a network problem. Please try again."

    S2E1 streaming - error c101a053 - "We can't check the playback rights for this item right now. Please try again later. Make sure to sign in with an account that matches the region setting of your device."

    And so forth through season 4... I'm not sure how much of this is a caching issue on my device. I have noticed seasons 2-4 starting to coming back online through the web marketplace (even though they don't seem to play yet), so I'm hoping I just need to
    update some licenses and wait for season 1 to come back up as well...

    Thanks for the help, airmattdog. It's a bit jarring when a ton of stuff you paid for goes missing all of a sudden... thought I had lost it all! I'll check again in a few hours and see if things look better. In the meantime, is clearing my local cache as
    easy as uninstalling and reinstalling the Video app?

    I'm glad to hear that it appears to slowly be working. Please give it a try again later today and let me know what happens. It's entirely possible that it's taken/it took longer to work it's way through the system.

    I don't believe you'll need to clear your cache, I would try refreshing your purchase history though. Open Xbox Video > Go to My Videos > Select Account Management > Press X. Give it several minutes to run, go back to My Videos
    and select My TV episodes and try them again.

    I was able to watch the first couple episodes of season 1 last night on the 360 - I imagine the rest are likely fixed as well at this point. I'll close out this question and if I find any episode-specific problems I'll make a new post.

    Thanks so much for the help! And sorry for my crankiness at the start - I thought I had lost over $100 of content for good, and got pretty *** after an hour on chat had a representative telling me I didn't own any of the episodes. I'm seriously surprised
    that there aren't better records, to be honest... didn't help that I paid for everything in MS points.

    I'm glad to hear that it appears to slowly be working. Please give it a try again later today and let me know what happens. It's entirely possible that it's taken/it took longer to work it's way through the system.
