Xbox video credits not working

I'm not even sure if this is where I am supposed to post this. I was sent to
Uh oh... that shouldn't have happened. by customer support, and then told it was not the right place to post.

After twice contacting customer support about this issue, I have finally been referred to this forum. It does not appear that the Xbox video credits that I have received messages about from Microsoft are actually going toward any of my movie purchases. This
seems apparent from my most recent messages:

I have purchased/rented numerous movies since 10/3/14--including just 8 days before the message telling us that our credit is set to expire. I am unable to go to the site listed in the 1/20 email, as I just updated my security cell phone number (locked
out until 2/26).

G'day Forviden! What error message appears when you try to select that card? Please be specific. If there's an 8-digit code included, let us know that too.

Check your billing information at
commerce.microsoft.com - please make sure your billing info is all correct and up to date, and also check the expiration date for the card you have on file. If you were issued a new card recently with the same account # but a different expiration date,
then you might need to update the expiry and the code on the back of the card.

If you have a different payment option that you can try, please give it a shot too. Hit us back with the results!

 

Xbox video not working

Hello im trying to rent movies and when it goes to the confirmation page it ask me for a payment metoth so I click on my credit card and it wont accept it. I rented movies before with the same card. The thing is thet it lets me buy games but it wont let
me rent movies.

Hey there, Tyler42787! I'm sorry to see that you keep getting messages about expiring credit. If you have already spent it, then you can dismiss those messages. Since 2/2 is this coming Monday, you should not receive any more of these messages.

The WoT code should not expire. Once you have access to your account again, please try the website to redeem it on. We are unable to redeem that for you as it needs to go through that site. If you are still having issues once your account is accessible on
that site, please do post back so that we may help you further.
