Xbox Video app won't update

When I try to start the Xbox Video app I'm prompted to download the current update. It downloads then just loops back to the same screen to download the same 9MB file.

Xbox LIve is working. I've tried clearing the cache. What can I do to make this app update?

Issue with Amazon Prime app on Xbox One since the Windows 10 / Experience update

The video quality of the Amazon Prime app has severely diminished since the Xbox One Experience update.

It looks like the video streaming is hampered by the update. It looks like a stream over a bad connection.

I can switch to a Roku device on the same switch and the Amazon Prime app worked perfectly. I can watch Netflix and Hulu on the Xbox One without issue, but it's just the Amazon Prime video app that has been adversely effected by the update. As a result,
I no longer use the Xbox One apps to watch video content.

Anyone else have this issue?

Xbox one yify.tv website not working in internet explorer app

Hi has anyone tried yify.tv website on internet explorer app on xbox one. As before the new ms update came onto xbox one it was working fine all videos where playing perfectly and now after the update has been done. I goto the website on my internet browser app on the xbox one. The play button is not there on the videos I don't know if its the update that has removed this. Or yify.tv website has removed it or something. Because it use to work fine before after the update the website doesn't show play button so I cant watch any videos on my xbox one. please can someone try and let me know will be really help ful. the website is yify.tv on the internet explorer app on xbox one. thanks

You're not alone, I have exactly the same problem. I also tried clearing the cache but that didn't help me either.

Cleared the cache. Restarted the console. Still no fix yet. Any other ideas?

Same problem. Cleared cache and removed/reinstalled hard drive. Still looping.

Looks like MS has recognized there is a problem, and is on it.

Hey everyone!

We are receiving reports that this issue has been resolved. If you are continuing to experience the update issue, please give the following steps a try:

First, try Clearing your Xbox 360 system cache 3 times.

Next, power cycle your Xbox 360 console.

Give the suggested steps a try and let us know if the issue is continuing to occur.

Update: It's not just my Game DVR videos; the app won't play any videos on activity feeds either. (I hadn't tested it before.)

I can watch things on the app, it just won't update. Every new video that I know has been uploaded won't appear in the new section and when I go to the appropriate producer's page, the video is there, but only available on Blip.com. And this is true of all
producers, ones who were previously perfectly fine with the app showing their videos. Their old videos still play, but anything from the past two weeks is unavailable.

I actually got a response from Blip themselves and they claim the App had become decrepit and they are trying to have it removed from Xbox. Can anyone from Xbox itself confirm that they are trying to remove the App and if so give a reason why? Are they simply
ending the partnership? Because I can't even find their app for iphone, so, there's that.

I'm also having this issue. I've uploaded video captures to OneDrive and tried to view them through the OneDrive app, and even on my computer, and they still won't play. I can open them using VLC, but converting to a different format won't work either. Is
this an issue with the Dashboard update? My console was just recently updated.

Yea I am getting that every once in awhile with xbox video. At times it won't let me buy a movies. When I click buy it just dashboards or it just sits there and nothing loads.

I am hoping theres going to be an update soon. Apps are having issues working. either they just don't start or drop to dashboard.

The my games and apps thing is totally messed up. it doesnt even show all my videos. to bad we can't download videos anymore.
