    I recently received a message on xbox live stating that I had a $6 credit to be used on 12/21/14 and expires on 2/2/15. I had tried to use this credit only I did not receive it on my Microsoft funds or received anything via email. I called xbox support
    to ask them where my funds may may have gone. Xbox quoted me to post on these forums and my credit would be in the Microsoft funds via my xbox. So after being a customer of over 10 years im waiting.

    Promotional Credit

    I recieved an email stating I should get a $6 promotional credit due to difficulties using Xbox video. Looking at my account though, no credit has been recently applied. Here is a copy of the email that was sent to me.

    You recently may have had issues using Xbox Video. We apologize. This issue has been resolved. Come back to Xbox Video and enjoy a movie on us! Be sure to use the promotional credit of $6 we deposited to your account. The credit expires 2/2/2015.

    Id like to know also where the 6$ credit is because its not in xbox video or any other place i can use it

    The credit should have been added back in October or November, I believe. The message is just a reminder.

    Log in to commerce.microsoft.com and set the search for Oct 2014 to see if the amount was added.

    Wow, amazing. simply amazing. so I have been reminded by a a msg that wasn't valid. so then I waste an hour and a half of my time typing on this stupid forum. I have been a member of xbox live for 10 years. customer loyalty means nothing to Microsoft. I
    will be ending my xbox live soon. and I will be doing business with only sony now. at least they appreciate there customers. this is the biggest joke. thanks for wasting my time. FYI your customer support team is terrible. my son and my family have Microsoft
    accounts. I will be paying them to switch to sony. just so you guys lose that money. also I will be posting this on social media to show everyone how much of a joke Microsoft is.

    this post here.

    I understand that you received your credit in October. However, there was no credit given in December. The message you received was a reminder, not saying you got the credit. It was specifically talking about the credit you received back
    in October.

    I do hope I have clarified this further. You should not have received any further credit, and the message was a reminder about the credit you got in October expiring.
