    So I paid for an account name which it said was ok to use, then later it was banned and my name was changed which made me loose my $10 I paid for it and I would like to change my name again but not pay again. Will Microsoft refund my money so I can change
    my name without me paying again?

    I paid for and changed my Xbox username but it won't change anywhere. On my tablet, computer, or Xbox. I looked in recent purchases and it said I'd changed the username. I waited 12 hours but still no change. Can someone tell me what is going on and how
    to fix it?

    For information on why it was changed and to see about submitting a case review, you would need to go to http://enforcement.xbox.com If the forced name change is overturned, you will be given a chance to change it for free. If it is upheld, you will have
    to pay if you want to change it and you would not be given a refund.

    No, "Username" and "xbox username" are not the same according to Xbox.

    Xbox usernames can be up to 12 characters, including spaces. However, usernames cannot begin with a number.

    Therefore, "Username" and "xbox username" are two different usernames, since one has a space in the middle and the other does not.

    If you're trying to change your Xbox username, but Xbox tells you it's in use, someone may already have that username with a space in the middle.

    To check this, you can try searching for the username with a space in the middle in the Xbox player list. If you find a player with that username, then that username is already in use and you will not be able to change your username.

    In this case, you will have to choose a different username.

    not since they changed the processes, more changes are coming too, all platforms using epics games are now using epics user id as it is their servers and their games, they are updating more and more to control it all.

    I am almost certain xbox username is whats used on Fortnite. Don’t think I’m wrong here as I have a different display name on epic that is overridden by xbox name.
