XBOX user [Mod Removed] threatened my IP adress.

I Was playing sea of thieves when i recived messages from a user named
[Mod Removed]. He then proceeded to threaten my IP address and harrasing me. I Contacted live support from help and she told me to provide this case number for documentasion:
[Mod Removed]. I also provided a picture of the messages he sent me in the XBOX Windows 10 App.

Making threats about banning.

My friend was playing a game we all know as COD: Black Ops II and he was threatened by an online gamer named
[Mod Removed]. [Mod Removed] threatened to ban my friend just because he was mad that my friend was doing better than him . My friend said that [Mod Removed] was bad at Call Of Duty and then [Mod Removed]
threatened to ban him. [Mod Removed] told my friend [Mod Removed] that he knew his IP adress, now he is threatening to ban me also and he also has said that he has a Z-tagged Xbox 360 which is some sort of modded or hacked
Xbox 360. by .

 

Threatened to be IP banned.

Watch out for gamertag [Mod Removed]. He threatened and booted my friend offline twice. He also threatened to IP ban him.

I apologize for what i said i meant nothing by it i was mad cause i asked him nicely to leave so my buddy could join up and and play after that he would not leave so i tried scaring him with ip i will admit what i did was very childish and wrong but all
i can say is cmon man really why do you have to make things public it was just a game a simple joke to be exact i love gaming and i think it should be a positive place for everyone to play im not a bad sport i simply love helping people and am a kind person
with a big heart man gaming has been my life for many years im dedicated to what i do and how i do it but i do apologize if you felt in anyway threatened it was a joke and all i can say is im sorry so sorry man i hope you read this and are able to accept this

The only thing you can do is report him for abusive messages and xbox enforcement will take it from there. If they DO go through on their DoS attack (your internet slows or stops), your Internet Service Provider must handle this, not xbox in any way.

If you are the target of such DoS attacks, Call your ISP (internet service provider) and tell them what is happening. They will change your IP for you and escalate this to the authorities as it's a federal crime in the USA to do that. After you're online,
block the person who you think was doing this, report him on his gamercard and avoid party chats and voice chats with them. Also, stay away from the games that they're hosting.
