XBOX Updates if I didn't play for like a month or two

Hello, I've done research about XB1 Updates. Is it true that if you cancel an update, the games will automatically be removed? OK so let's say I'm in school, before bed, I set my console to offline or I plug off all the cords or if I haven't played a thing
for a month or two, but I connect it back to online and they show a notice that I need to update my console, it won't affect my games from being gone oy only updating, correct? And for the updates to be successful, does it necessarily require a good internet
connection?

It is true, if you cancel a game update the game will be deleted. If you don't use your console for a while, and you need to update, no you will not lose your games that are on your console. For the updates to be successful, you do need a reliable good
connection to the internet.

Nice... I landed on exactly 60,000 a month or two back, it didn't stay like that for very long, but was nice to see a clean whole number like that.

I haven't had this issue. I have the Day One Xbox 1 Edition with Kinect console (500GB). It seriously tho feels like Microsoft is spamming us with updates, for Xbox, for Windows 10. We get at least one update EVERY month. 21st century technology is so crappy
it needs updating, regularly, lol.

The reason they are doing updates every month is because we asked for it, people didn't like having to wait three months or even six months between updates, so Microsoft gave us what people asked for. Now I didn't ask for monthly updates, but that doesn't
matter, big companies listen to the loudest voices, and in this case it was "WE WANT REGULAR UPDATES!!!!"
