Xbox updated before Live went down today. Should I be worried about my personal information?

No, I wouldn't worry at all!

Even though no official reason has been given for the service interruption today, there'd be no reason to think that whatever caused it would also have caused an issue with any personal information.

Fortunately (and unfortunately), it's just a temporary annoyance.

Xbox is using Microsoft Account, if they steal your information, Microsoft might not notify right away. However, in case they try to use your account and attempt to login, normally Microsoft Account detect it as abnormal activity and notify you. In addition, Microsoft use number of mechanisms to data possible data leak and if it detects that is your case, it will notify you. However, it is different from case to case.

i downloaded it straight from epic games ive done this whole thing before went on my xbox bought the vbucks went back on to pc and they were there but you know since my xbox live is gone i abit worried about buying it off the xbox store and not having
the vbucks

Had 2 emails confirming the purchase of 2 lots of 5000 ms points just before live went down I've rung my bank who informed me I'm not the only person who's rung them ok sounds fishy to me. Been on live for 9 years with no problems
