    I'm sorry but this is bs.... I opted out of the new wave to avoid all this mess. Not only that but this was a forced update which interrupted a movie at a party I was hosting. This was a horrible experience and not only will I be opting out of the preview
    program (a program that provides little to no value for me) I'll be letting my friends know about this. Going to go to Twitter and any other social media outlet to let people know how Microsoft treats its customers. It's not like the system was fully functional
    when it was booting so I don't know why I'm shocked. This is so *** annoying...

    This worked for me. Unplug everything. Hdmi power cord controllers externals hds Wait 10-15 mins. then just plug the power and hdmi to tv back in. Hold down the pair button and eject button then tap the power on the green start up screen did load back
    but it finally went past it and loaded with the new update hope this helps anyone

    i had the same problem yesterday and i used the Offline Update Diagnostic Tool and Restore Factory Defaults and it got the system working again

    This issue ain't fixed , I tried the reset turn off power but my xbox IS stuck on the green screen.

    Started the update it froze about 80% tried the reset fix posted here now it's jus stuck on green screen , can't get to xbox to try the hard reset as I'm confined to bed , so unless you release another update to try get the xbox to reboot then it look
    pretty grim.

    Had problem today and used the method GotenSD described. Turn off unplug all cables for 15 mins. Then boot back up holding the pair and eject buttons. After a few minutes of green screen it booted to new front end with update installed all working fine.

    (Update) I unplugged everything , power hdmi cable usb cable for pad etc left nothing plugged in , then left it for about 15mins then got everything plugged back in an booted up hey Preston it is now running with me dashboard.

    This worked for me to recover from my infinite green loading screen:

    Unplug everything. Hdmi power cord controllers externals hds Wait 10-15 mins. then just plug the power and hdmi to tv back in. Hold down the pair button and eject button then tap the power on the green start up screen did load back but it finally went past

    I have done the offline update, but when I click on the offline update option it says Preparing Console and it stays stuck at 0%.
