Having worked for a well known ISP here in the UK, regardless of what package youre on, id strongly recommend connecting with a cable, all the time if possible, if its not then definitely for the update. So many things can interfere with your wireless,
from radios to microwaves, lighting to garage doors and anything inbetween. The only way to guarantee a signal is with a wire, not one company can guarantee a wireless connection, or at least a stable one as theres just too many things that can cause a drop
in connection or a dip in speed. Hope you manage to get it updated.
