Xbox Update just don't care

Dear Developers!

My problem is plain and simple. I just played a ranked game, it doesn't matter what kind of, and I was just about striking the finishing blow, I won technically, and right that moment the Xbox Update came and ruin it for good. The game has a time limit,
so if you don't interact with the game you're kicked and the other player win automatically and that's what just happened, though he can not possible win the game if I had been there.

My question after that is quite simple: is it that freaking important to instantly update that console with zero tolerance, without any care? I think the answer is not, there is no reason to rush it that much without any option. And I won't have any compensation
in the game either, so it's basically make the game unfair. Bravo. I'm really frustrated right now, my apologies, but I hope my point here is clear enough. Ranked games are not easy to win, it's difficult enough without that ridiculous problem too.

i was banned because I have Tourette's but it didn't matter because if I have Tourette's it's my problem right the operator said. so I thought pretty much that guy was having a bad day so I tried another operator the same thing happened again I would say
that Xbox says in there motto that you have mental issues like Tourette's don't get our console because you'll get banned anyway!

Support has nothing to do with bans

What madeyou think that?

If they did they would be spammed and you would never get thruthru

Hence why most Online Services use moderated methods like forums or enforcement sites

Hence why you were told the correct info

 

Ok, three things:

1: You don't know the ramifications of your console not updating, I mean the update could for all you know be security based.

2: You can set your console to update when its switched off, so that when you next log on everything is up to date.

3: Its a game, its not life or death, there are far more important things to complain about

That's about it.

 

1: You can't be serious about this. You really think an update make any significant difference which requires to apply it instantly? That would mean Microsoft has some really serious issues with Xbox One which I doubt.

2: I'm really really curious about this. That should be the default setting by the way, but I doubt it can be done. If this would be an option my console had offered this when the update occurred.

3: I was sure about this reaction, but I thought this will be the first point. Okay I get it, "who cares" but it's pissing me off, it can't be helped, but if what you've write in the second point is true, then I will shut my mouth and I will be 100% satisfied!

I checked the
official site, and it's not completely true. By default, the console receive updates and installs them when the console isn’t being used. Still, if it can't be done the console forces you to update anyway. Out of nowhere, in my case, at the most crucial
moment. Well done!

 

I have mine set up for instant-on mode and can probably count on less than 1 hand how many times I've had to sit through an update and I've had the console since day 1.

I am part of the Insider Preview and because updates do not always automatically come through, I have got into the habit of checking in the system info as soon as I turn on my Xbox. It takes a few seconds to see if it needs an update and really does stop
them being forced on you.
