Xbox update is corrupt

First my games forza horizon 4 and fortnite deleted them selves and will not install anymore. Fortnite gets to 61.7% and stops. Forza gets to 23.2% It says I have 146.5 gbleft of storage so that should not be the problem. But I have not been able to get
it to work in the past few days. Quite irritated. Have tried everything. Now I have tried resetting the xbox and keeping apps and games and it only made it worse. I can not get on the network, can not sign in, as well all apps and games are deleted.

Fez Getting All Patched Up On XBLA

Fez will get a new patch on Xbox Live Arcade, Polytron founder and Fez creator Phil Fish says in a tweet.

Fez has been in need of an update on XBLA since June 2012 – Polytron actually released a patch that month that fixed a number of issues in the game, including infinite death loops, but that update caused some save files to read as corrupted. Polytron later re-released the patch without fixing the issue that caused corrupted save files, citing costs from Microsoft running into “tens of thousands of dollars” to issue that first patch.Click to expand...

Screen freezes after update, June 2013, HEEEELP!

EXACT SAME ISSUE - my xbox completely froze after the update and was in brand new condition before this update. Lets be very clear - "The update can corrupt your system file", Thanks Microsoft - PS4 it is.

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. We will need to fix the network issue before we get to downloading the profile back and installing your games. Does the console provide an error message when trying to connect to the network? First, we
recommend power cycling the network and console. Be sure to let us know the results!

To perform a power cycle reset, follow these steps:

Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for five minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

Restart your Xbox One console:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Settings.

Select Restart console.

Select Yes to confirm.

Note If you’re unable to access the guide, or if the console appears to be frozen, press and hold the
Xbox button on the console for 10 seconds, until the console turns off. After the console shuts down, touch the
Xbox button on the console again to restart.

After five minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

I had already check for corrupted files but anything is corrupted.

And i already tried to install the update in a USB but when i conect the usb to xbox, appear a message that says that in the xbox miss another previous updates so it tried to download the previous updates from LIVE but again it fails

Glad to hear that you got a working model in return for the.. Lets go by Badgers assessment. 'banned because of a corrupted update.' (Scratches head. MS Xbox division releasing a corrupted update that, whether online or off. Bans peoples consoles? Go figure!)

Nah, MS tests all these updates via the preview program long in advance before releasing updates etc. Do they not?

If true, then how in the wide wide world of shorts can a direct update from MS become corrupted?

Update: I managed to download it and it basically corrupted my Xbox. Woo...

Could you try and see if there is any contents stored on your Xbox 360 console that might have become corrupted/damaged. Corrupted contents is shown as an yellow exclamation mark.

Could you try to update manually by copy the
update to a USB (configured for use with the Xbox 360) or CD/DVD?
