    Hi I had what I thought was a great Xbox update idea. My idea was to be able to change the notification sound for the Xbox one,x

    It would be a cool concept. You could be able to use a variety of sounds from Xbox themselves or be able to use a pc and use your own sound whether it be a 10 sec or 5 sec sound. You could be able to mix and match sounds for different types of notifications.

    I thought it would cool to add more customisation to the x,one.

    Add a signal strength bar for those connected to WiFi and a quick guide side bar.

    How about you do an update that insulates consoles from xbox.com down time so consoles can still be operational in this event. This is absolutely ridiculous and I had no idea it could be an issue. Thanks xbox.
    My Xbox S and X both have blank screens since I updated this morning

    Hey there Brian!

    I think the way that it's setup now though is that updates to your games can be applied as soon as they need to, though I can see how inconvenient it feels to not be able to access certain features of your console due to these kinds of outage.

    However, that would totally be nice. If you would like to submit this idea to Xbox directly though the best way would be through the
    Xbox Uservoice website.

    Myself, i would change the "notification" sounds - For example, the sound when a friend comes online it would be different from an achievement ( like a knock on the door) and when you get a message that could sound like a phone ringing, But the achievement
    itself would stay the same.
