Xbox Update Failed Everything All Good!

So I was able to play last night fine. Today and a system update failed. Finally just got that installed and done but now it's saying that Gta 5 needs and update. And every time it says there was a problem with the updated visit xbox help. I've done everything
trouble shooted. I don't know what's wrong. Internet connection is all good every time will open nat everything fine. Any help would really help..

MY Xbox will not even manual update!

My Xbox failed at an update and lost all the info and now when i try any way to update it it just freezes on the open screen and won't work. I've tried everything and nothing works!

 

All Else Has Failed - Cannot get system update: Status code: C000-0185

I cannot get the update (17489) to download. I am receiving an update failed notification with status code C000-0185.

The update has failed and failed and failed. It is a failure.

I cannot connect to Xbox Live - and feel like I have failed.

I have done everything suggested:

• Deleted profile
• Cleared the cache
• Installed from USB
• Installed from CD
• I didn't have a hard drive (4GB internal cache), so I bought a 250GB drive

I've tried everything I could find, and nothing has solved the problem.

Help!

Sorry to see you're having issues with updating GTA 5 on your console.

Let's get this sorted for you.

Please go to Settings > Disc & Blu-Ray.

From there, please select 'Clear Persistent Storage', confirm the action.

Then, hold your finger on the power button for 15 seconds - even after the console shuts-down. Unplug all cables, reconnect them, switch it back on.

Let me know if you're still facing issues.

 

I was crossing my fingers but nope it didn't work same error? This is frustrating I can download games and everything else but this update... It's the only game I play really.

 

Just tried a wired connection thinking it might be my wife which is unlikely because it's always good. And again same problems. I'm guessing I'm going to have to try and reinstall it which will suck. Any other suggestions?

I don't have any further troubleshooting for this I'm afraid - however, if you go here
support.xbox.com/.../contact-us and click Xbox One, then Console Issues, then click to chat to a Volunteer - one of the other Ambassadors may be able to assist you further.

 

Same issue here and spent a good portion of my afternoon with support to fix it and it is still not fixed. All games but GTA V work just fine. Looks like I will be working on bettering my CoD AW K/D

For reference purposes, which troubleshooting steps did Support run you through?

 

Lol chat support said it was an issue rockstar has to deal with not them. I don't know how some of these people get there jobs. Don't you proof the patches before millions of people download it? I think they just don't know what to do so blame other people.

This system is awful. How can we be suckered into paying this much money for a machine that consistently doesn't work? I don't hear about the playstation people having this many issues. We pay for an online membership and i can't even download an update
for GTA 5? I've done everything possible to troubleshoot, but I think the final step is buying a PS4. This system has been a massive disappointment. I can't believe people still have jobs at Microsoft for putting out a POS like this! What were you thinking?

Are you also facing issues with an update on the Xbox One?

 

The controllers break every 6 weeks, the online play is not any better than 360, and anyone can tell the system and controllers are made so cheaply i could squeeze too hard and they could break. Way to go Xbox One! If I were this bad at my job I would
be fired!
