Xbox update error 20/7/2017 unknown problem

just went to,put my Xbox on on says it needs a 518mb update, problem is it can't seem to do that, it can't connect to do, it said test connection did so, still won't update, I checked PS4 that plays fine over net, cod keep iPad that plays fine tested laptop
also fine and yet this won't let me update the Xbox, and then tells me I can't go online, and yet it's able to download updated for games I'm watching it do a marvel omega one right now, I thought maybe if I pause and cancel of them that may help, wrong, I
thought I'd reboot let the damn thing cool done wrong again, so at the moment my Xbox I'd in a fatal loop so what's the point in having it if i can't use it properly, it's like having a car with no engine, jumping out of a plane no parachute, it's another
thing wrong with the world as Microsoft and that are American I'd blame trump he has a hand in everything that goes wrong lol.

Hi there,

Not sure if this is what you already did with the reboot but just to be sure, please try the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 30 seconds before powering on again:
http://support.xbox.com/en-us/xbox-one/console/power-cycle-console

If that fails I would suggest trying a factory reset (with keeping Games and Apps installed) via the steps here: Reset Xbox One Console to Factory Defaults
