Xbox Update broke my console's wireless hardware

Okay, so ever since the update, my console has been constantly disconnecting from Xbox live at random times. When I finally get it to reconnect it only stays connected for an hour tops, then. I have to wait until the next day for it to start working again.
When I go to the Set Up Network tab I settings it says there are no wifi options available, and when I go to test network connection it tells me to restart the consoles wireless hardware, but tha doesn't do anything when I do. I know it's not my internet fault
because everything else in my house connects fine. Please help

Wi-fi and controller disconnecting constantly

Update: Occasionally also throwing "Restart Wireless" error when trying to reconnect: "There may be a problem with the console's wireless hardware. Try restarting it, and then wait a few minutes for the controller to connect again."

 

HALP!!! "Wireless Network Hardware" Error

Wish I could be of help as my Xbox One did the same thing. Said there was wireless hardware failure then started working after an update. Last I used my Xbox it was still working.

I'm using a wireless connection, so no cables. Also it doesn't come up with an error message when It disconnects, it only says "connect to Xbox live" where it normally does when someone isn't connected (in the gold store and side menu).

 

Hey SlayerHdThe3rd! What network hardware (router/mdoem) are you using? Is there more than one console on the network? If possible, try a wired connection to see if the console is able to maintain a connection longer than an hour. Post back and let me know!

I'm using a Verizon router and there is an Xbox 360 and a Wii also connect to the network but those are the only other consoles, I'll look into getting a wired connection
