    Xbox unexpectedly turns off without any warning


    This has been going on for awhile i have done everything i can think of including swapping parts and redoing the thermal paste but my xbox still shuts off sometimes instantly after i turn it on and sometimes 3 hrs im am curious if anyone else is having
    this problem and what should i do?

    The xbox collects dust overtime so my opinion is it needs to be cleaned from the inside or the power supply cord is in a spot where it can't breathe.

    1. its against forum rules to discuss self repair.

    2. now you have opened your xbox you cannot send for repair to microsoft.

    3. you would need to find a local repair shop that may be able to fix it.

    Talked with support before opening the xbox itself and was told it was out off warranty and have already done that just looking for advice on what the hardware problem ,if it is that, might be

    Sorry, but this forum cannot help you with self-repair methods that involve opening the Xbox (and voiding your warranty).

    The console shutting off without warning is usually due to these two reasons: poor ventilation, or a power supply issue. See the
