Xbox unable to sign in or add new account

I am unable to attempt to add a new account or sign into a new account. I can sign into accounts already on my Xbox

I just tried both options for console reset with and without keeping game data. Unfortunately still no luck. Even during the setup process, when it prompts to sign in using an existing g account, it performs the same way as before where it appears to be attempting to prompt the sign in menu but nothing shows up and it just returns to the previous screen. Even after skipping this and trying to sign in through the Home Screen i get the same situation.

The rest of the Xbox seems to act normally, but I can’t test a lot of it because it does not sign in.

Reading your problem, I realized that you tried solutions that would normally solve the problem, like a Hard Reset and others.

I recommend you try the solution below, please.

Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

On the Reset your console? screen, you'll see three options:

*Select to keep your games and apps so they won't be deleted. If that doesn't work, do the same procedure again, but choose to delete everything from the console, as there might be something corrupt on the console.

Ok so I performed the offline update. At first I could not add new account, yet again. Then, after trying a few times it sat with the loading circle for 45sec-1min. Then went back to the main screen again, as usual. I tried one more time after that, and it worked!

Unfortunately I now have to download 500G worth of video games and apps, but at least I can use the Xbox. I’m not sure if it will stay working, but at least some progress.
