Xbox ultimate with pre-redeemed xbox live gold giftcards?

Hello! I recently redeemed about a year worth of Xbox live gold gift cards and I want to get game pass ultimate, but I was waiting until my gift cards ran out. Is there a way to get ultimate and not have my gift cards be voided? This would be very helpful.

Hi there,

You can try purchasing a prepaid xbox live gold giftcard and redeem that.

Your gift cards won't be voided if you get Ultimate now. The remained of the time you have left from your gift cards will be upgraded to Ultimate. So for example, if you have 10 months of Gold left and you buy 1 month of Ultimate, you'll have 11 months of Ultimate.

In this case the system will give a equivalent of the months that you have from the Xbox Live Gold to Xbox Live Game Pass Ultimate.

Remember its better to already have the Xbox Live Gold then change, that have Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and then redeem the Xbox Live Gold.

Thank you for your post. I understand you are experiencing an issue with an Xbox Live Gold Card. When you purchase an Xbox Live Gold pre-paid code and redeem it under an active Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Subscription the time will be converted to Game Pass
