Xbox ultimate and child account on Pc

Stuart, indeed, you can share subscriptions, but only on console. :/

Unfortunately, on PC, there's no way you could share a subscription. You only will be able to access the benefits of the subscription, on PC, with the account with which you subscribe.

Getting game pass ultimate is a good idea as include both game pass and Xbox live in one subscription. You can customize the settings of your son's account here

As Game Pass ultimate includes can be used for Xbox and PC you can play in your PC too while your son plays on the Xbox, but as many have said already, Minecraft is not included in Game pass for PC.

i see where there is the issue, you have an xbox with ultimate on your account set as home, this means your child can then play the games on his account, on pc, gameshare like that does not work so he needs his own subscription on the pc.

best thing to do is just buy gamepass pc via xbox pre paid cards from gaming retails stores or cd keys.

or when the sub runs out on console, get him to set his account as home and purchase a prepaid ultimate sub as above, then anyone on the console gets to use the perks and he can then use xcloud and gamepass on pc without issue.

We seem to be having the same problem. The child account has games downloaded which we cannot now play despite having just added 12 mnths ultimate to the main account. Does the 12 month ultimate apply to both adult and child account?
