Xbox UK support none existent

Hey folks,

I've been a paying customer since the OG Xbox days and rarely had to contact customer services but wow they have absolutely destroyed any UK specific services.

The only way to speak to someone is via the arrange a call link which hasn't worked for the last 2 weeks regardless of what device I try and regardless of what avanue I try to go down.

I've now had 4 support chats over 2 weeks regarding a wrongfully denied refund, all of which have said they will assuredly come back to me via email within 72 hours.

How does such a huge global brand get away with having such a poor customer services pathway?

If a company does not have a descent support service and they are blatantly useless then I don't do business with that company.

Sony helpline, call and get answered fairly quickly.

Steam support chat based or ticket system, response within 2 hours.

EA (believe it or not lol) respond to tickets in 5 hours or less.

Epic same as EA.

Ubisoft 2 - 6 hour response time for tickets or email support.

Above goes for most other gaming companies I do business with.

There is an official process for requesting refunds, which is online from this support page: https://support.xbox.com/help/subscriptions-billing/buy-games-apps/refund-orders

Submitting a request doesn’t guarantee a refund, especially if it doesn’t meet the criteria.

If your refund request is denied, then you can't get a refund. It's a final decision.

GapingMoss49: Everything will work, you will just not be able to choose Pakistani marketplace (since none exists) but you can still use any other (US, UK, whatever), as long as you have a supported payment method for the selected region (like US credit card,
US PayPal, US MS Gift Card etc.).
