Xbox tv tuner in Canada unable to get US channels

Discus and support Xbox tv tuner in Canada unable to get US channels in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I can get US and Canadian channels with all of my other tuners, but the Xbox Tuner is limiting me to just the Canadian channels.     Xbox tv tuner in Canada unable to get US channels


    I can get US and Canadian channels with all of my other tuners, but the Xbox Tuner is limiting me to just the Canadian channels. Is this done on purpose or will there be an update for people on both sides of the border to get all of the channels that they
    can receive?

    ONEGUIDE to FOOL them ALL

    One guide not working, no postal code in Canada, (under Canada region) can locate service provider for either HDMI or USB Hauppuge tuner.

    unable to watch TV through XBOX One. This was working two weeks ago when I purchased the Hauppauge tuner, but as of August 31 no channel listings, how do I get a refund for the tuner.

    Can hardly wait for the ATSC PVR function in 2016 so I can record nothing.

    annoyed with failed promises XBOX ONE.

    Oneguide doesn't change channels on my motorola VIP1853

    hello,

    oneguide is unable to change channels on my tv-tuner,

    i've already calibrated my kinect sensor. it recognizes my tv but,

    somehow not my tv-tuner. i also tried manual calibration and the

    support troubleshoot but nothing seems to work. i'm kind of out of options right now

    I have the same issue, living in Windsor ON. I have to set my region to the US to get the proper line up. This affects my billing and online purchases negatively however.

    It would seem that MS forgot that there are a large number of people living within 50 miles of the border here in North America.

    We should be able to input either zip or postal codes when we set up OneGuide instead of being region locked.

    no there are no problems when i use the tv tuner for OTA Tv. it displays the channels correctly and views them in great quality. Unless the tv tuner is required for use with the STB though i wont be using it.

    Here is a link on the OTA tuner that you're asking about. So far as I know it is only available in the US and Canada and is a Hauppage tuner.

    Any other tuner (whether it works or not) is a 3rd party tuner and is not covered by Xbox nor is there information on them.
