Xbox turns on then immediately shuts off



- I press the Xbox button on the console and it turns on for 1 second then immediately off.

- Xbox One power supply it's plugged directly into the wall.

- My power supply has a solid orange light that turns white for a second when I hit the power button but goes back to orange when the console turns off. Is that a sign of a console or a power brick problem ?

- Not dirty. Treated very well. Anyway I tried also with hair dryer , but no luck .

- I tried also holding the Power button and eject button, no luck

- I tried unplug the console for 10 seconds and then plug it back in to reset, no luck .

- Unfortunately is out of guarantee.

I have yet to find a solution to this on Microsoft's support page so any advice would be welcome.

Either you need a new power brick, or need to wiggle the cable around a bit, or even just need to put it on some sort of solid material and not on a carpet floor or anything so it won't overheat.

I did this steps now, resetting, sync button, eject button
and power button, unfortunately, it shuts down immediately.

I had a issue like this about one year ago my xbox kept turning on and off in a loop only problem for me was my warranty was out and xbox wanted 150 euros to repair my console so i took matters into my own hands i opened my console and found that the ribbon
cable that is attached to turn on button on my console was loose took it off and put it back on and has worked ever since

 

I opened it to check for any ribbon cable, everything is fine .

Is there something broken in there probably the fans if the xbox overheats too much it will automatically shut off its program too do that if the fans are not broken well i geuss ur xbox is done for

 

Sounds like a power issue try borrow a friends power supply to test it to see if it has any changes

It might be the powersupply as previously posted, but it could also be the console.
