Xbox Turns On Randomly

I just tried all of those steps and it's still doing it. Not sure if it's an issue with my electricity or the xbox :/ xbox luckily still works fine, it just randomly turns on.

I had the same problem and i believe i found the cause. I have a Razer Thresher Ultimate headset that has a base station the plugs in to the optical out and usb on the console. If i leave my base station on with my wireless headset
off, my console will randomly turn on. If i turn off my base station, my console stays off.

I don't know if the issue is related to how wireless headsets pair with the xbox or not but i haven't had an issue since i started turning off my base station when i am done gaming.

That's an interesting one, we've not seen many reports of that issue happening at all. Is this an original Xbox One model, or an Xbox One S model? If it's an original model, try unplugging the console from the power source and cleaning the power button with
a soft try cloth to remove any fingerprints or debris.

If that doesn't help, make sure your console is plugged directly into a wall outlet and not a surge protector/power strip. The Xbox One console has a built in surge protector, so if it's connected to another one, it's very possible that there could be a
power issue going on. Aside from that, it's also possible the console is downloading updates in the background. Do you have the console set to Instant On mode or Energy Saving mode?

Hi, we've had the same issue for about a year and it usually switches on from standby during the night and on average about once a month, although sometimes during the day and more or less often. We've seen various theories on the Internet from stuff too
close to the switch to insect invasion in the box - none of which are applicable. We've seen nothing sensible to explain this from the Xbox support team, and agree that it is quite annoying. We're hoping that the Xbox team will post something to explain this
one day. Is it possibly due to system upgrades being sent out?
