    at night my Xbox one turns on and off randomly sometimes there is a delay in between and sometimes it's quick why is this happening?

    my xbox 360 turns on and off by itself randomly

    I have the star wars xbox also! for some reason he will randomly turn on for awhile then shut off. I have cleaned it and done what everyone said but it is still doing it! It does not shut off randomly while I am playing, it only turns on randomly late at
    night! sometime it does it a few times other nights maybe once and sometimes not at all. what the heck is going with my xbox?

    My xbox one continues to turn on randomly in the middle of the night

    Randomly throughout the day my xbox one will turn on. It mainly happens during the night though.

    Your Xbox is haunted. Pouring a circle of salt around the console would be your first step. If the problem persists, there are several avenues you can pursue. Please see the following support articles:

    Xbox > Haunted Console > Contacting your local priest/rabbi/medicine man to perform exorcism/jewish exorcism/voodoo.

    Xbox > Haunted Console > Contacting those brothers from supernatural to help, almost die, but ultimately succeed due to luck and charm alone

    Xbox > Haunted Console > How to sell/trade in your haunted console to make it someone else's problem.

    In all seriousness, that seems to be an issue related to either a controller incorrectly receiving the input to turn your console on, or as you guessed, with your kinect. I'm not seeing a support article on this specific issue. Have you considered a hard
    power down before going to bed? Holding down the power button for 10 seconds. That will take it out of instant-on mode, and might address your issue.

    Sounds like a PSU or switch issue to me, with a 360 being pretty old by now it wouldn't surprise me if either were the cause tbh.
