Xbox turns on but won't connect to TV or controller, got error e106

Sorry in advance for the long post. About a day ago, my Xbox started having trouble while I was playing a game. I clicked the X button to open up the Xbox side menu while I was in game, and the menu froze. I couldn't click anything or move to another tab.
I wasn't sure how to fix this so I decided to just hard reset. After that, my Xbox hasn't been able to come back on.

I can turn my Xbox on, but it doesn't connect to my TV or my controller, the only thing that really comes on is the power button lighting up. Everything seems to be working okay with my power brick and HDMI cord, but I tried a different HDMI cord just to
be safe and that made no difference (yes, everything is plugged in correctly). I also tried connecting my controller to my Xbox with a wire and that didn't work.

While I was doing all of this, I also tried power cycling, I hard reset multiple times, I tried the startup method that involves holding the sync, eject, and power button on my Xbox, and none of these methods worked. I unplugged my power brick and just let
everything rest overnight and tried again in the morning and that also didn't fix it. I've done all of this multiple times.

There have been times where if I turn it on and just leave it on long enough, it'll go from showing no signal on my TV to just a black screen even though my TV is on, it will also connect to my controller, but past that I can't do anything. Just recently,
I left it on for about an hour and a half and it finally came to a trouble shooting screen. From there, I chose to restart my console, but once I chose that my Xbox just froze on that screen and never restarted. While there, I got the error code e106, so I
looked that up and was told to restart my Xbox so I did, and now I'm back at square one, and my Xbox won't connect to my controller or TV.

I've had this Xbox for about five years now, its just the original Xbox One model, I've never had any problems with it before. I do what I can to take care of it, I keep it well ventilated and I've never let it overheat, I've never opened it up to clean
it internally but I keep it clean externally, I don't move it around that often, and I don't have a ton of games installed so I have plenty of storage space.

Also, while I have it on, sometimes I can hear a clicking noise coming from the console itself, it isn't a constant clicking, but I've never really heard that sound coming from my Xbox. Maybe it's a hardware issue? The warranty I had ended back in 2016 and
as far as I know I can't update it because I don't have proof of purchase anymore. Is there anything else I can do? At this point, should I just take it to be repaired somewhere? I've spent a lot of time trying to find answers online through google and the
support forums but I'm coming up with nothing other than just hard reset, and that hasn't worked.

    :)

Wireless controllers will not sync to console

Well, found this too: If you're using an HDMI connection between the Xbox 360 and the TV, it might be that. When using HDMI, the Xbox won't boot up until it knows what the TV is capable of displaying. Although the controller will turn the console on, it
won't sync with the console -- and it's not a controller or console problem, but just a symptom of the fact that the Xbox won't get to the point where controllers will sync until it can properly communicate with the TV. I'd recommend turning off the TV and
the Xbox, disconnecting the HDMI cable and re-connecting it after making sure the contacts are clean. Then turn the Xbox back on first; you'll likely to see the same behavior. Finally, turn the TV back on. With it being switched back into HDMI mode, it just
might "kick-start" the Xbox into a good communication link across HDMI.
