Xbox Turns on but with new HDMI won't show up on screen.

Make sure that the hdmi cord is all the way in and the right way. This happened with mine too.

have you tried on a different hdmi port on the tv or even a different tv.

This sollution worked for me when changing from one tv to newer model ( the refresh rate did not match because setting was not on manual in my case ) .

1. Check that the HDMI cable connection to your console and TV is secure.
2. Make sure that the HDMI cable is connected to the console’s “out to TV” port.
3. Cold boot your console (hold the power button for 10 seconds).
4. Reset your display settings:
   • Eject any disc from the console
   • On the console, press and hold the Xbox button for five seconds
   • Press and hold the Xbox button and the Eject button until you hear a beep to turn on the console. Don’t let go until the second beep occurs.
   • Note that this action boots your console in low-resolution mode. Go to Settings to reset this setting.

• Confirm that both your TV and Xbox console are turned on.
  
• Check that your TV is set to the correct input signal (HDMI).
  
• Check that the HDMI cable connections to your console and to your TV are secure.
  
• Check that the HDMI cable is connected to the "out to TV" port on the console.
  
• Try plugging the HDMI cable into a different HDMI port on your TV.
  
• Try using a different HDMI cable to connect your console to your TV.
  
• Try connecting your console to a different TV.
  
• Power cycle your Xbox : Press and hold the Xbox button for 10 seconds to turn off the console, and then turn it on again.
  

Please give this troubleshooting a try and see if the issue is fixed just to make sure that it's not a hardware issue. However, if the issue persists, it can be a hardware therefore the console needs to be serviced. I tried this and unfortunately nothing happened. I also tried the methods from the link, but still even though the xbox is on, nothing shows up on the screen still. I think the hdmi port might be damaged as the troubleshooting screen won't even appear, and my TV and monitor don't even register a connection to the hdmi, so I think my only option will be a repair, or buying a new xbox.
