Xbox turns on but TV is blank

Thank you for replying to me. I forgot to mention that this exact equipment (Xbox/cable/TV) have been working fine for years. No issues. Only now, after a 6 month to a year of not using the Xbox, this new issue has come up. I touched nothing from when I last used the Xbox and all was fine.

Any ideas?

Btw, my TV does acknowledge (auto-identifies) the Xbox where the hdmi cable is plugged in. send normal except I have no image pop up like it did for years! Argh.

I can’t remember but I think I have a 1 TB Xbox One. Def an “older” model…but not ancient.
