xbox turns off after a few seconds when i turn it on

Hi, so a friend of mine spilled some drink on my xbox one.. exactly on the fan part the xbox was on at the time, i turnd it off and pull out the cables. next i put it on its side until the next day.. now my xbox goes on and after 5 sec i turns off by itself..
wat can be the problem ? the warranty is expired already sooo what can i do to fix it

This could be more than just a power supply failure - since you got water on the motherboard.

Here's all you can try before getting a repair (~135 USD out of warranty) or a new one:

Reset the power supply if it had a surge protection trip by unplugging the console from the wall (and the power supply from the wall, if you have a power brick) for 10 seconds and plug the console in first and then into the wall and boot up again. If that
does not fix it you will need a repair.
